2008 retrospective...

End of Year Questionnaire...
My friend Amanda has posted an End of Year Questionnaire. I thought I'd steal it and exercise some narcissism...

35. Who did you miss? My blood family. All of them. Something's happening to me as I grow older...
36. Who was the best new person you met? For my general well-being it had to be Nate.
37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008. I can never be the "catcher in the rye" for this life. Particularly when "they" don't really give a shit.
38. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year. "Do what you can/When you see wrong/Try to mend it/Heal it with your love/Show them what it means to be human/Show them how it feels to care/Do what you can/ To do away with hate"

Holiday wishes

My son's first holiday, and already I wonder how I'll explain it to him. Been milling it over and almost perfected- not too soon! But my only wish for this season is for everyone to make an honest assessment of what is needed from the self in the next year. I can only hope we all may finally find we want the same things for our future and strive to make it come true. Good luck to all, and to all a good night.

About Me

My photo
For those who don't know me that way... I spend most of my energies contemplating life and everyone in it- mostly feeding on a combination of fascination and frustration, which is most of what I feel for the world at large...

Good Night!
