Saturday?

I awoke this morning realizing I wasn't sure what day of the week it was. I need one of those clocks which dispalys the time, date and calender items so that I don't miss work... one of the hazards of shift work? I haven't done it yet, but now that Aims is home full time, I feel like "Groundhog Day"... in a good way, of course!
"Yesterday, today was tomorrow...and here and now is all that I can be."

A mighty wind...

So I get a call at work this morning awaking me from a rather unusual peaceful slumber at the fire station... "The tree fell on my car..." is what I hear as I rapidly come to my senses and realize this is not a dream. Amy tells me the wind storm has claimed the tree from our front yard and it has come to rest on top of her car. Yikes!!!! So I dash home, and sure enough there it is. So I proceed to use the chainsaw and make short work of removing the debris. The car is OK, with only scratches and dents, and Lumberjack Mike resting comfortably!

Where the hell did January go? Dad was right when he advised me "time speeds up as you grow older", but I didn't think I was old enough yet...
